Verify an Evidence Certificate
Check a Landlord Buddy certificate code or compare a PDF copy with the fingerprint of the original certificate. Public verification does not reveal the landlord, tenant, property address, rent or other tenancy information.
Choose how to verify
A certificate code confirms whether the certificate record exists and its current status. Uploading the PDF performs the stronger check by comparing its SHA-256 fingerprint with the original Landlord Buddy certificate.

The uploaded copy is hashed for comparison and is not retained by the public verifier.
A valid code alone never unlocks tenancy data or a certificate download. If you need a copy, the verification result lets you request one from the landlord for approval.
