WordPress and Landlord Buddy use cookies that are necessary for login, session security, account access and administrative functions. The service cannot operate correctly without them. Essential cookies do not require advertising consent.
2. Preference storage
The website stores your cookie choice in lbsite_marketing_consent for up to 180 days. Landlord Buddy may also use browser storage to retain interface preferences and unsent form drafts for the current browser session.
3. Optional analytics and advertising tools
Optional Reddit and Snapchat advertising or measurement scripts are blocked unless you actively choose Allow optional cookies. They remain blocked on the login, signup, tenant portal, account application and key legal pages even after consent.
Allowing optional cookies may let those providers receive information about page visits and campaign interactions under their own privacy information. Declining does not affect Landlord Buddy membership or the operation of the app.
4. Payment providers
When a payment journey is used, GoCardless may use essential browser or session technology for recurring Direct Debit setup, while WooCommerce and Stripe may use essential cookies for configured one-off card purchases and fraud prevention.
5. Managing your choice
You can change your optional-cookie choice at any time. Choosing Essential only prevents optional Landlord Buddy marketing tags from loading on later page requests. You can also remove or block cookies using your browser settings, although blocking essential login cookies will prevent account access.
