How an entry qualifies

The programme is available to eligible Landlord Buddy landlord members. A member creates a unique referral code in the app. The code is valid for 21 days and can be used once by a new landlord account.

The referred landlord must complete 12 continuous paid weeks before the referral qualifies. The qualifying period starts from the first successful membership payment. A referral that is cancelled, refunded, reversed or otherwise fails the qualifying rules may be excluded. Annual members can qualify for the referring landlord’s draw entry, but the new-landlord referral discount itself applies to monthly membership only.

New-landlord discount

A valid landlord referral code gives the referred landlord 10% off their first three monthly membership payments. The referral discount does not apply to annual membership, which has its own annual price.

Monthly prize pot and entries

Each qualified referral creates one numbered entry and adds £15 to the relevant monthly prize pot. A referring landlord can hold multiple entries where multiple referrals independently qualify.

Entry numbers are allocated by Landlord Buddy and displayed in the member’s referral area. The eligible list is locked before the draw.

Draw

The draw is intended to take place on the evening of the first Tuesday of each month, live on Google Meet. The promoter uses Google’s random number generator against the locked numbered entry list and records the winning number in the Landlord Buddy administration record.

If a draw cannot take place at the advertised time for technical, legal, operational or other reasonable reasons, the promoter may reschedule it and will communicate the revised timing.

Prize

The winner receives the locked monthly prize pot. The winner may choose a Love2shop voucher, donate the full amount to the nominated homelessness charity, or specify an amount to donate and receive the balance as a Love2shop voucher.

The nominated charity may change between campaigns. For 2026/27 Landlord Buddy intends to nominate St Mungo’s in London.

Contact and verification

Landlord Buddy retains the information needed to administer the referral, qualification and draw and to contact a winner. Participation in the referral programme does not by itself create marketing consent.

Fairness and abuse

Self-referrals, duplicate/fraudulent accounts, manipulated payments, false identities and attempts to circumvent the qualifying period may be excluded. Landlord Buddy may require reasonable verification before issuing a prize.

Important

No separate fee is charged for a draw entry. These terms describe the intended programme mechanics and should be finalised against applicable UK promotions and gambling law before the promotion is launched publicly.
